The Selfridge Base Community Council is comprised of Macomb County's select business and municipal leaders, all working together to benefit and support the brave men and women as well as their families, who serve this great country day in and day out. The Council provides financial assistance for scholarships, educational programs for the Base's servicemen and families. The Council is also the largest voice for economic decisions that affect the Base and their families, working with elected officials to continue to operate the base to defend the nation and preserve the estimated $850 million economic impact on the local economy.
